Within the Children’s Ministry at Harvest Baptist Church, we know kids thrive when they are given opportunities that are both fun and educational. Our desire is to partner with parents in laying the spiritual foundation that children can build their lives on. Each week we strive to make every child feel the excitement of knowing Jesus Christ. Harvest Kids is a place where we want kids to want to come back to week after week!
Children's Church:
We have Children’s Church every Sunday morning during the worship service. Children’s church is a full service brought down to a child’s level. Boys and Girls learn about salvation, baptism, how to live for Jesus, the great people of the bible and other bible truths. They are taught by games, songs, puppets, Gospel magic, object lessons, and many other fun and exciting ways.
Mission Possible:
Mission Possible is our Wednesday night program here at Harvest. We kick things off each week at 6:00pm. During the summer months we will be having Wacky Wednesday.
Sunday Night Discipleship:
Sunday night is a time we set aside to have a time of discipleship. During the Fall we us Elevate as we take adventures through the bible to uncover Biblical Truths together. In the Winter we start Bible Drill, a time when Kids will learn key passages and scripture in the Bible.
Other Opportunities:
We have VBS each summer that will usually start in June. VBS is a week filled with fun as the kids learn about salvation and what Christ did for us. We also have a Fall Festival as our Halloween alternative. As well as a Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt each year on the Saturday before Easter.
From the Children's Pastor:
I hope that you and your family will take time to be a part of the Children’s Ministry here at Harvest. My heart is to see boys and girls live a life that is empowered by Christ Jesus or Lord. If you ever need to reach me please feel free, I am always an email or phone call away, and my door is always open.
